A round of social -functions has been planned for members of the United States aad Chilean Army teams that will compete in the inter- national jumping contests featuring the Inter-American Horse Show on Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Riding and Hunt Club’s headquarters in Rock Creek Park, Chevy Chase, Md. The chief of Cavalry’s office and the United States Army team, which will arrive tonight from Fort Riley, Kans.,, will give a luncheon on Fri- day afternoon with the Chilean Am- bassador, Senor Don Manuel Trucco; the Chilean team and officials of the show as their guests. A tea dance is to be held at Fort Myer on Friday afternoon in honor of the United States and Chilean teams. The teams will be the guests of several officers and ladies of the nearby Virginia garrison. Both teams will be guests at a formal dinmer dance to be held on Saturday night at the Mayflower Hotel. The dance will be formal with the officers appearing in mess jackets.
