By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, October 21—Price movements in the bond market were somewhat irregular in the late trading, but the general list continued to show a preponderance of gains. | U. S. Governments were uniformly higher with advances ranging from 1-32d to 7-32ds of a point. Secondary ratings made the best showing of the corporate division with gains ranging to around a point in low-priced rails and industrials. Bonds of Alleghany Corp. and Balti- more & Ohio were inclined to heavi- ness. Italian government 7s cancelled part of an early 2'2- -point loss. Th2 balance of the foreign list was steady. Chicago Grain By the Associated Press. CHICAGO, October 21.—A sudden falling off in the United States’ visi- ble supply total did much late today to bring about rallies in wheat values. Domestic stocks of wheat in sight decreased 1793.000 bushels the past week, contrasting sharply with 2,149,- 000 bushels increase the week preced- ing. Something of an offset, how- ever, was the reported arrival of 165,000 bushels of wheat here from Buffalo, with two cargoes of Can- | adian wheat due here soon. Wheat closed irregular, 34 lower to 2 higher than Saturday’s fnish, De- | cember 1011g-14; corn, %-34 up, De- | cember. 59t oats at 1y decline | to '3 advance, and provisions show- | ing a rise of 2 cents to 12 cents. pIVHEAT—, Onen.
