SCRIPTURE STUDY COURSE PLANNED Society in Fall and Winter Activity, With Quarters at Cathedral. The Society for the Home Study of Holy Scripture and Church History, with headquartefs at the Washington Cathedral, has made plans for its Autumn and Winter correspondence courses. Subjects offered for 24 weeks, be- ginning September 28, include: “The Acts of the Apostles,” by Dr. William 8. Bishop, director of studies for the society; “English Church History, Wita | Special Reference to the Reforma- tion,” by Rev. Cornelius S. Abbott, vicar of the Church of the Good | Shepherd; “Our Prayer Book as It Is Today,” by Rev. Arthur B. Rudd, rector of Christ Church, Rockville, Md, and formerly canon of the Ca- thedral.
