The Mtter were somewhat backward. The closc was firm. Transfers approximated 800,000 shares. It was one of the smallest turn- overs for a full session in more than a month. The Italo- Ethiopian controversy was also con- sidered a secondary market influence Improvement in the stock list wa: | attributed partly to some nervou short covering as well as reinvestment demand and speculation for a tech- | nical comeback.
