FIN RAIL AND UTILITY BONDS GO DOWN Federal Obligations Mixed, but Widest Changes Are in Plus Column. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK. July 12.—Ineffective support in the rail and utility catego- ries made for a generally lower level of prices in the bond market today. Trading favorites in the carrier group showed a considerable number of closing losses ranging up to 1': points, and power company loans, on the average, made an equally unfavor- able showing. United States Governments were irregular. but the widest changes were on the side of improvement. Final quotations were 2/32ds of a point lower to 8 32ds higher. Prices were down in loans of Balti- more & Ohio, American Water Works, Columbia Gas & Electric, Laclede Gas, Erie. Nickel Plate, Goodyear, Missouri Pacific, New York Central and Union Pacific. A steady tone prevailed in the more important foreign groups. $871,040 Earned By General Baking In 26-Week Period By the Associated Press. NEW YORK.
