NEW YORK, July 8—~Curb market stocks displayed steadiness in all divi- sions except utilities today. After an irregular start and quiet trading during the forenoon, a broad- ened demand for some of the more active specialties brought out buying | orders in other sections during the | last hour. fis Closing prices were generally the | best of the day. BONDS ON THE CURB MARKET. CAPITAL PRODUGE MARKET IS STEADY Weakness in Tomato, Cel- ery and Raspberry Prices Only Feature. Most quotations were steady on the Washington produce market today. The only weakness was shown in celery, tomato and raspberry prices. Eggs and live poultry were unchanged.
