Mrs, Dale is a daughter of the late Gen. and Mrs. Winfield Scott Feath- erston, of Virginia and Tennessee, was born in Mississippi, but has lived for a number of years in Baltimore. She was the widow of Charles R. Posey, and is the mother of Mr. Charles R. Posey, jr., a practicing lawyer in Baltimore, and has one young grandson, Carlyle Fairfax Posey. Mrs. Dale is regent of the Baltimore Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and is on the Board of Directors of several philanthropic organizations. For nine years she was president of the Wom- an's Auxiliary Board of the University of Maryland Hospital. Col. Dale was born and reared in Pennsylvania, and has spent his adult life in the Regular Army.
