BISHOP'S GAROLS FEATURE SERVICE Annual Christmas Singing Program at Cathedral Tomorrow. The annual Christmas carol service will be held in the Great Choir of Washington Cathedral tomorrow at 4 o'clock. Carols wtlfizg by bishops of the church will be featured in the music to be rendered by the Ca- thedral choir of men and boys under direction of Edgar Priest, organist and choirmaster. Bishop James E. Freeman will extend Christmas greet- ings to the congregation. Among the poems emphasizing the significance of the holy nativity to be rendered by the choir will be carols* by Bishop Freeman and his predecessors, the late Right Rev. Al- fred Harding and the late Dr. Henry Yates Satterlee, as well as those by the late Right Rev. Phillips Brooks, Bishop of Massachusetts, -and the late Right Rev. Cameron Mann, Bishop of the Diocese of South Florida. The offertory anthem will be “Cantique de Noel” by Adolphe Adam, and the benediction carol at the close of the service will be “Sleeps Judea Fair,” by Hugh A. MacKinnon. Very Rev. Hughell E. W. Fosbroke, dean of the General Theological Sem- l inary in New York City, will deliver the final in a series of four Advent sermons at the service of morning prayer and holy communion at 11 o'clock. The holy communino will be celebrated at 7:30 am. in the Beth- lehem Chapel. Bishop Freeman will deliver the sermon at the celebration of the holy communion, with festival music, on Christmas day in the Great Choir at 11 o'clock. He will act also as cele- brant at this service, assisted by the Cathedral clergy. The holy com- munion will be celebrated in.the crypt chapels at 7:30 am. and 9:30 a.m. Tuesda: —_— Latter Day Saints.
