The evening service will be entirely of music, with a candlelight proces- sional by the three choirs—senior, young people’s and junior, numbering 80 voices. The carols will include: “The Pirst Noel” traditional; “The Holly and the Ivy,” English, with ob- bligato by the junior choir; “The Angel and Shepherds,” Bohemian. The an- thems will include two special fea- tures, “Come Unto Me,” Bach; double chorus from the St. Matthew Passion, sung by senior and young people’s choirs, antiphonally; also Gounod's “Nazareth,” arranged for three choirs by Mr. Potter. Other anthems will be “Lo, How & Rose” (for men’s voices); “The Song of Mary,” by Fischer, and the “Hallelujah Chorus,” Handel. The choirs will be conducted by Louis Potter, John Wells will assist at the organ and Harriet Frush at the piano. Epworth M. E. Church Soutb will hold its annual Chrisamas candle- light service tomorrow evening at 7:50 o'clock. Eighty singers from the three choirs of the church, under the direction of Robert Ruckman, will present numbers by Praetorius, Han- del, Carlo Rossini and arrangements of traditional carols of various coun- tries by Thiman, Reimann and Dick- inson. The following soloists from the senior choir will assist: Eva Goebel, soprano; Dora Payne and Anne Smith, altos; Stuart Black, tenor, and James Payne, bass.
