THURSDAY, RAIL PRESIDENT SUED APRIL. 6, 1933. BY DISINHERITED SON Damages of $066,427 Sought in Action Filed Against H. K. McHarg, Sr. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, April 6.—Henry K. Mc- Herg, sr, president of the Detroit and Mackinac Railway Co. and the Alppena Gravel Co., was sued for $966,427.50 yes- terday by his son, Henry G. McHarg, jr. The son claims the damages on the ground his father has made a new will omitting him as an heir. The younger McHarg claims $500,000 for damages allegedly suffered as a re- sult of his father's statement that he money spent in his capacity of vice pres- ident and general manager of the rail- road. The complaint says McHarg engaged his son to run the railroad on a promise to_make him chief beneficiary in his will.
