SOCIETY President Hoover Entertaining Party of " Men at White House Dinner. Mrs. Hoover at Concerts. RESIDENT HOOVER will be host at dinner this evening, his guests being _engineers, and there will be no ladies in the company. Mrs. Hoover this morning attended the concert in Central High School given by the Student Orchestra of Wil- mington, Del.. Edna Turner, conductor, and the National Symphony Orchestra, Hans Kindler gave the latter half of the program as one of its series of chil- dren’s concerts. The student orchestra is composed of junior high school stu- dents of Wilmington. Mrs. Hoover was accompanied to the concert by Ms. Edgar Rickard, who is a guest at the White House. The Secretary of War and Mrs. Hur- ley were guests at luncheon yesterday of Mrs. Alfred I. du Pont of Wilming- ton, Del., who entertained at the Carl- ton, where she is spending a few days. Howland, where he spoke in commemoration of Mr. How- land’s distinguished service to Greece as chairman of the League of Nation's Greek Refuge Settlement Commission.
