By the Associated Press. CORK, 'Irish Free State, November 16.—The plant of the Ford Motor Co. here closed down for an indefinite pe- | riod yesterday afternoon. The entire plant will be transferred to the mew Ford plant at Dagenham, Essex, near London. The Ford plant in Cork has been making tractors for export to every country in Europe and the United States. The busihess was of such impor- tance that in 1930, shortly after the plant was started, the Free State started making its own commercial treaties with | European countries in order to facili- tate the exporting of tractors.
