Chapin have leased the house at 1627 New Hamp- shire avenue and are expected to e possession about October 15. The Ambassador of Italy, Nobile Giacomo de Martino, will be the honor guest at a dinner this evening to be given by the Italy-American Society at the Mayflower. The Ambassador returned this morn- ing from two days’ stay in New York. ‘The United States Ambassador to France, Mr. Walter E. Edge, has re- turned to his home in Ventnor after spending the week end in Washington. Mr. Edge will entertain at lncheon Priday in honor of Senator W. Warren Barbour.
