Among the sur viving near relatives are two brothers and a sister living in Montgomery Coun- ty and a sister living in Washington. The deceased was the son of the late Thomas Waters and Martha Dawson Waters and was born at Burtonsville He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Ida Hanson of Weiser; two sons, and a daughter, Mrs. Alice Taylor, and five grandchil- 1z‘lx('n. all of Idaho; four brothers, Benoni D. of Washington State, Robert Los Angeles, Walter W. of Burnt Mills, Md.; Frederick L. of Silver Spring. A, retired, was buried with military hol ors in Arlington National Cemetery to- day, following funeral services at 11 o'clock this morning at his home, 3415 Massachusetts avenue. The veteran of Indian campalgns, who held a citation for gallantry against the Spanish in 1898, died Saturday, after an illness of many months. He was 77. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Ella C. Macomb; three sons, Lieut. Col Gordon Macomb, U. S. A. retired, of Chicago; Philip Macomb of Washing- ton, and Lieut. Comdr. Alexander Mz comb, U. 8. N., aboard the U. S. S. Ok lahoma, now in the Pacific. He is also survived by two sisters, Misses Christina and Nannie Macomb, both of this city. A brother, Gen.
