As {the prime minister and his lady sped |away from the brilliant scene and the Capital which had welcomed them right royally, they must have felt elated with their reception in America. At the embassy as they took their early departure after the brilliant din- ner and still more brilliant reception were gathered several hundred guests to | bid them good luck on their return journey to Italy and who remained at the embassy to dance to the music of |the Meyer Davis Orchestra, brought from New York for the evening and | which played until the small hours of the morning.
