Haywood B B 3 rown. ‘The bride, dressed in & gown of bridal satin, with a jacket of old lace, and wearing a large picture hat, car- ried a shower bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley and was escorted by her father. She also carried a hand- made lace handkerchief, which is an heirloom in the family and was a part of her mother’s wedding costume. Mrs, James D. Edwards was matron of honor and Miss Irene Edwards maid of honor. Both attendants were be- comingly dressed in gowns of lace, the matron of honor being in peach color and the maid in old blue, and wearing picture hats. Each carried a bouquet of Pernet roses and delphinium. Mr. James Monaghan, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and serv- ing as ushers were Mr. James D. Ed- wards and Mr. Angus C. Edwards, brothers of the bride; Mr. Leo La Montagne, all of Washington, and Mr. Donald H. Sanborn of Bangor, Me. A wedding breakfast was served in the Dodge Hotel immediately following the ceremony. The table and room decorations were carried out with the same simplicity as those in the church and lent a charming background to the scene. Included in the wedding perty were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel A.
