LEONARDTOWN, Md., July 28.— Mrs. Richard Adams of Drayden, Md., probably owes her life to an Irish setter dog that went to her rescue when she was knocked down and severely injured by a bull. The dog attacked the bull, occupying its attention until Mrs. Adams could reach a point of safety. Mrs. Adams went out to feed her chickens, forgetting that the bull was loose in the barnyard. Before she was aware of its presence it knocked her down and was pawing her when the dog sprang to the rescue. Mrs. Adams’ husband was attract- ed to the scene by the barking of the dog.
