PYTHIAN MEMORIAL = RITES CONDUCTED Memory of Eight Past Chan- cellors and 14 Knights Honored in Service. A Knights of Pythias memorial serv- fce at which tribute was paid to the memory of 8 past chancellors and 14 knights who have died since 1930 was held last night at Pythian Temple. Members of all lodges in the District attended the service, the address being ‘made by Rev. R. Y Nicholson, pastor of the Rhode Island Avenue Methodist Protestant Church, Ceremony at Cemetery. ‘The service was held unde‘r the aus- pices of Amaranth Lodge, No. 28. The program included singing of “The Va- cant Chair” by the Bethany Baptist Church Quartet; “Taps,” by George O. Sunday; reading of the names of the deceased and a ritual ceremony by the Grand Lodge officers. Earlier in the day a ceremony was held at Congressional Cemetery, where a wreath was placed on the grave of Edward Dunn, past supreme chancellor.
