Doherty of New York. Mme. Debuchi wore of gold brocade, made with flar- skirt from a circular peplum at the hipline. Mrs. Jahncke was in a graceful and simply made gown of orchid velvet and silver brocade, the flaring skirt falling into a short train at the back. Mme. Lessinoff wore white and silver flame,, and Mrs. Doherty was in white chiffon, made with panels of chantilly lace. ‘The figures of the cotillion were danced at 11 o'clock, Gen.
