PRENDERGAST TRANSFERRED TO LONDON Administrator of Division of Proto- col in State Department to Sail on Leviathan August 20. | ‘Walter Thomas Prendergast, familiar to Washingtonians for the past two years as administrative officer of the division of the protocol in the State Department, has been transferred to the United States embassy in London and will sail for his post on August 20 on the Leviathan. Mr. Prendergast was secretary of the delegation, headed by Secretary of State Stimson, which participaied in the Naval Conference, and he passed some weeks in London in preparation for the arr of the coterie.
