Encouraged by assurances of Repre- sentative Ruth Hanna McCormick of 1l- linois, that she would introduce in Con- press a bill providing for a branch pub- ic library in Georgetown if they would prepare it, members of the Georgetown Citizens' Association last night desgi- nated a special committee to draft measure. Addressing the meeting in St. John's arish Hall, Potomac and O streets, Mrs. eCormick said it was through no fault of Congress that there 1s no branch li- brary in the Georgetown section. “The request for such a library has Mever passed the District Commission- ers,” she declared.
