Law- rence Choate of Washington, national president of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew of the Episcopal Church. Plans are being made to welcome between 150 and 200 men and boys on this occasion , coming from Virginia and Maryland, as well as the District of Columbia. Mother’s day will be celebrated to- morrow at the Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Dr. J. McCartney will speak on “Shall We Bity or Envy Our Grandchildren?” The church will be appropriately decorated. in honor of all mothers, and those ‘whose mothers are living are asked to wear a red car- nation, and those whose mothers are not living the white carnation. Jones, Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, will be the speaker at the Howard University religious service to- morrow in Andrew Rankin Chapel at 11_o'clock. Bishop Jones is a native of Wash- ington. He completed his undergradu- ate and theological studies at Living- stone College, Salisbury, N. C.
