INTEREST IN RESEARCH SPURRED BY NEW CLUB Mrs. Mildred Percy Heads Organi- zation Seeking Broader Professional Outlook. ‘The recently organized Research Club held its first meeting in the form of a dinner session last Monday, April 14, ot the club house of the American Asso- ciation of University Women. Dr. Man- del Sherman, director of the Washing- ton Child Research Center, spoke brufly on psychiatric problems. The next meeting will be beld May 12. Objectives of the club are to give broader professional outlook and in- crease interest in educational and Eycholoflcll research. At the organ- tion meeting March 21 officers were elected as follows: Mrs. Mildred Percy, president; Mrs. Josephine Burmeister, vice president; Miss Bernadette Dore, treasurer, and Miss Emma_Gardner, secretary.
