The Texas Co., oll producer and dis- tributor, has purchased property at the intersections of Georgia and Mont- gomery avenues and the Baltimore road, in Silver Spring, for a price amounting to $4.25 per square foot, ac- cording to an announcement made to- day by Phil D. Poston, real estate broker, who handled negotiations. The same property was bought 10 months ago for a price reported to be $2 per square foot. About a decade ago the property sold for 5 cents per square foot.
