March 31— Deputy Sheriff Lloyd Lane, admitted slayer of Ambrose Williams, 30, farmer, shot in the back as he fled when his home was raided vesterday by four officers in search of liquor, faced an inquiry today, with indications he would plead justification in that Willlams re- fused his shouted demand to surrender.
