The meeting, which was largely at- tended, was conducted by Mrs. Archi- bald Small of Woodside until the offi- cers were elected, when the new presi- dent took charge. It was decided to at once inaugurate & campaign to have the many Repub- licans of the county who are said to be recorded on the registration books as Democrats or’ independents change their party affiliations and to endeavor ta induce as many as possible to do so before March 1, so as to be in a posi- tion to participate in the primary elec- tion of their party in September, the Jaw requiring that such change be made at least six.months prior to a primary election. Will Seek Organization. It was also agreed that the Republi- can women of the county should be bet- ter organized and there was an under- standing that Mrs. James H. Luney of Cabin John Park would begin activities along that.line at an early date.
