(LDTOWN BRDGE MOV IS BOOSTE Project Given Impetus at Meeting of Citizens and Of- ficials at Cumberland. Special Dispatch to The Star. CUMBERLAND, Md., January 13.— The move for another bridge to span the Potomac River was given further impetus when a delegation of citizens of Green Spring, W. Va., and Oldtown, this county conferred here with the Allegany County road directors and G. Clinton Uhl, chairman of the Mary- land State Roads Commission. Arthur Z. Ewers and E. O, Coffman of Romeny, W. Va, members of the Hampshire County Court, accompanied the delega- tion. ‘The Allegany County road director advised that a three-span steel bridge to be removed from a State road near provided hire County contributed to half the cost of erection, masonry and approaches.
