STORE SALES GAIN INDISTRICT AREA Richmond Reserve Bank Re- ports 5.3 Increase in June Turnover. BY EDWARD C. STONE. The Federal Reserve Board's review of department store sales in June, just | issued, shows that retail trade in the Fifth Federal Reserve district enjoyed a 4.6 increase over the corresponding period in 92! The Washington office announces the Standard Collateral Shares Corporation on August 15 will pay to holders of common stock of record July 15 a divi- dend cf 60.062 cents per share. The price of these trusteed shares during this period ranged from $12 to $19.375, so that this dividend will show a yield at the rate of 10 per cent on the low and 6.2 per cent on the high price of the period. The Virginia-Carolina Chemical Cor- poration has declared regular quarterly dividend of $1.75 on prior preference stock, payable September 1 to stock of record August 17. Many Eyes for Insects.
