Holding to our purpose as a national civic association chartered for service and not for profit, we are reinvesting our funds for the development of highways, the promotion of safety, the passage of laws protecting the public interest and giving justice to the motorist, the securing of equitable taxation, the arousing of interest in the historical resources of our country and the opening up of public lands as playgrounds for the nation. But in a more intimate relationship with its hundreds of thousands of members the world’s largest motor federation has developed an interlocking daily travel service that has no counterpart or equal. A-wheel, ‘A-foot, A-float, this association serves its members every hour of every day in the year. From the mere changing of a flat tire in front of your home to the handling of all the details of a magnificent Europzan tour, the services of 1034 A.A.A. clubs stand between their members and travel annoyance. You should be acquainted with the activities, the resources and the abilities of the world's largest travel service organiza tion. For you too—if you are not already a Three A member—will wish to enjoy its countless privileges and advantages. International Services . The A.A.A. is the only American member of the Alliance Interna- tionale de Tourisme, an international motoring body comprising approximately 3,500,000 travel members. Our Foreign Division can handle every dets of your Buropean motor tour. Steamship tickets will be secured, your car shipped from any point in the United States to any regular passenger port in Europe. Driving licenses, customs documents, foreign license plates, ocean and European insurance will be secured and reservations made in European hotels. Through special contracts with European governments your customs duty is provided for on this side. We furnish maps. part of our mvfle you are given a six language Manual of Conversation especially prepared for the use of motorists. Our travel book, “Motoring Abroad" will be furnished members free Seventeen European clubs are affiliated with the A.AA!inan inter. | locking, international travel service. Our own representatives are stationed at twenty-three European ports during the travel season. They meet our membets on arrival and attend to all the details of debarkation. The arranging for an European motor tour is of no more trouble to you than the checking of a trunk in this country when handled through the Foreign Division of the A.A.A. .
