Burton Will Preach at First Congre- gational Church. /At the First Congregational Church, Tenth and G streets, the special guest speaker tomorrow morning will be Rev. Charles Emerson Burton of New York, general secretary of the National Coun- cil of the Congregational Churches in the United States. His subject will be *Intercourse With the Infinite.” Dr. Burtcn has been general secre- tary of the National Council since 1921. He was educated at Carleton College, Minn.,, and Chicago Theological Sem- inary. After pastorates in Chicago, Minneapolis, . Columbus and Cleveland he was in 1914 chosen general secretary of the Congregational Home Missionary Society.
