Northington, 50, a grain salesman, was drowned in the Guif near here Sun- day trying to save the life of his daugh- ter Anne.10, who was rescued by George P. Tullos. Northington and Tullos, with their wives and Mrs. Gene Fields, were fishing from a rock jetty on Clearwater Beach Island when the child fell into 15 feet of water. Northington dived after her and was being carried down with the child by a swift current when Tullos went to the rescue. Tullos managed to save the child just before her father went down.
