S. W. LANGFORD GIVEN ABSOLUTE DIVORCE| Arcade Owner Wms Decree l‘ram[ German Girl Who Wrote Plea. Sidney W. Langford, 66 years old, owner of the Penny Arcade on Pennsyl- vania avenue, was granted an abso- lute divorce against his wife, the former Marie Boheim, by Justice Jennings ! Bailey yesterday, on the grounds of unfaithfulness. Following: a romantic courtship in 1925, when a local newspaper pub- lished a letter from a young German | girl seeking a husband, Langford ac-| cepted her offer and they were married two weeks later. The wife later filed action for limited | divorce. He filed a cross bill accusing his wife of unfaithfulness. It was dis- missed and Langford was compelled to continue alimony payments until recently when he filed a second cross bill in which he alleged that his wife and a man were discovered together in a police raid. Justice Balley dismissed the wife’s bill as a result of the new allegations and awarded the husband an absolute divorce. — Long-Distance Radio a Success. | GENEVA, March 20 (#).—A cable- | gram received at League of Nations headquarters today = from Asuncion, Paraguay, said that a speech broadcast in Spanish from the Netherlands sta- tion of Kootwijk lest night was heard perfectly in Paraguay.
