FOUR FLYERS LOST OFF FLORIDA SAFE .2 | Lindbergh's next duties, but he plahs Lindbergh Planned to Lead Search for Rogers and Three Companions. By the Associated Press. MIAMI, Fla, February 14.—Loca- tion of Harry Rogers and his three companions at Pine Cay made it un- necessary for Col. Charles A. Lind- bergh to carry out his plan to lead the search for the flyers again today. Rogers, veteran pilot, failed to re- turn last night after helping in the earlier rescue of two persons whose | plane has been forced down near the Florida Keyes. These two were picked | up by a ferry boat. | Lindbergh spent several hours fly- | ing over the Florida Keys aiding in| the search. and had made known his intention_of joining the rescuers early | today. Before he took off, however, | word was received that Rogers and | his companions were on Pine Cay, at | « the north end of Andrews Island. His amphibian plane had been forced | down late yesterday by lack of fuel. The flying colonel expressed relief | mmcmmmflytumxuura. .
