Something Nobody Knows Unless Qur Customers Tell It! THE AMERICAN SMALL LOAN COMPANY is performing a worthy public service. IN THOUSANDS OF HOMES we have been the only credit agency available to the working class in time of need. ASK THE LANDLORDS who paid the rent of the mechanic out of work. If he doesn't know where the money came from, we do. ASK THE DOCTORS and the nurses and the druggist who supplied the moneys for their services in time of accident, serious fllness and for operations. Probably they do not know, but our customers know. ASK THE GROCER who re-established or maintained the credit of his delinquent neighborhood customers. He'll tell you he hasn't any such customers, but we know better because we fur- nished the money to feed hungry mouths. ASK THE INSTALMENT HOUSES how many accounts have been “paid in full” at the eleventh hour—just about the time the moving van was ready to go for the furniture. He may gucss, but we and our customers know. ASK “BILL,” the mechanic, how it is that he now has a sav- ings bank account where heretofore he was always asking for the loan of a dollar. He'll tell you all about the wonderful things of sav- ing money, but he may not say a word that the AMERICAN SMALL LOAN COMPANY budgeted him out of debt and taught him how to stay out. THE AMERICAN SMALL LOAN COMPANY is the working- man’s banker—his refuge in time of money emergencies. We are in a business the foundation of which is the service of placing our client’s personal finance upon a stable b: We make loans of from $100 to $300 without unnecessary delay and without endorsers, the loan being repaid in as many as twenty small monthly instalments to suit the borrower’s income. No fees are charged or deductions made. Every repayment reduces the interest cost, which is computed on the exact balance for the actual number of days the money is used.
