TEPPEIN HEADING FOR TS HONE PORT Huge Crowds at Berlin Give Godspeed to Eckener and Crew. By, the Associated Press. BERLIN, November : 6.—The Graf Zeppelin, having completed her visit to the capital, was headed for Friedrich- shafen, its home port, today. The air- ship left the Staaken airdrome in the suburbs at 7:06 am. Never had bigger crowds assembled at the airdrome than those that came in the course of the night to see the air- by the cold night. There was a whole army of vendors of souvenirs, such as Zeppelin handkerchiefs, lead pencils, peppermints, balloons, cigar lighters and biographies of Dr. Hugo Eckener, the builder and commander. While police and army reservists did all possible to_handle the crowd, there were about a hundred accidents, all of a minor nature. When the airship started she carried, besides her crew and 35 honor guests, 110 passengers, who paid 1000 marks (about $240 each) for the trip to Fried- richshafen. Dr. Eckener remained in Berlin for a series of conferences. The airship was in charge of her senior offi- cers, Capts. Ernst A! Lehmann and Hans C. Flemming. The airship flew over Potsdam, Des- sau, Halle and Plauen on her way home. HERNANDO DE SOTO DEAD.
