15 PONGARE DENAOS FLL REPARATION Insists Amended Draft on Germany Shall Meet All French War Debts. By the Associated Press. CAEN, France, October 29.—With discussions regarding a committee of experts to draw up a new reparations plan for Germany under way, Premier Poincare stands firm on his insistence that France shall obtain from Germany enough to pay her war debts as_well ®8s indemnity for war damage. Until this quest; the Premier said in a 00 mayors of Normandy municipalities, France had no right to abandon her guarantees blindly. Political circles interpreted the “guar- Bntees” as referring to occupation of the left bank of the Rhine, which France was not_prepared to abandon until payment of the war debt to the United States and Great Britain and of indemnities was_assured. “We have suffered such severe losses,” the Premier sald, “that we cannot af- ford to sacrifice’ further our material interests. I have said at Chambey and must repeat here that we desire nothing but_the loyal execution of treaties and diplomatic accords; we seek profit from o one; we are prepared to discuss all propositions made to us “But in all negotlations where our claims against Germany are at stake we have no right to abandon our guarantees blindly. We have no right %o accept any combination which would not_insure us the means of integrally paying our own debts also just in- demnity reparation: SHIPPING NEWS Arrivals at_and_Sailings From New York.
