Special Dispatch to The Star, ROCKVILLE, Md., October 18.—The reports of the officers of registration for the various election precincts of Mont- gomery County, submitted to the su- pervisors of elections here yesterday, show that at the several sittings of the registrars a total of 3,804 voters were enrolled anl 1,933 erased at the 33 reg- the county’s total registered vote. Of those registered 2,239 affiliated as Democrats and 1448 as Republicans, while 117 declined" to affiliate with either party. The advantage of the Democrats over the Republicans was, therefore, 791. The Democrats stricken from the books totaled 1,062, while but 797 Re- publicans were erased, a difference of 265 in favor of the Republicans. The list of erased also includes 73 Inde- pendents and 1 Prohibitionist. The reports show a net increase of 1,177 in the Democratic registered vote and 6531 in the Republican registration, or 526 in favor of the Democrats.
