Bids for the construction of a new 16-rcom building to replace the Lang- don School were rejected yesterday by the District Commissioners. The low- bid, $290,000, is $35,000 in excess of the funds available. The plaintiff, through his attorneys, Newmyer & King, alleges that he was employed in the automobile shop of the defendant on September 1 last and a motor lift hook with whicn he was raising a motor from a truck slipped and caused him to be thrown over a work bench, twisting his spine and| causing other injuries.
