JENNY LIND, Ark, February 25 Tts losses counted up, this little mining community today was mourning its 13 dead—victims of a gas explosion in the tunnel of a coal shaft. 2 Every one of the 125 who were work- ing within reach of the fatal explosion and its fumes was accounted for and one of these was injured. Among the dead were the nephew of the mine superintendent and the pit boss. Led by Claud Speigel, State mine nspector, rescue crews worked all through vesterday until late in the night, clearing tunnels and bringing out bodies. until the last was accounted for. Only Williams was left under ground. Wreckage and heavy fumes hindered the work of relief. Cause of the explosion was not an- nounced until after rescue work had been completed last night and Inspector Speigel ended examination of the two shafts affected.
