Eight stations al- ready have contracted for this spe- cial program, and the others are ex- pected to sign up within the next few | days. ‘Will Rogers, of course, will appear before the microphone. Other celebri- 2y tles of the stage and screen who are e LAl scheduled to take part in the program talk include Louise Fazenda, Ann Rork, George Marion, Douglas Fairbanks, Ir.; Mack Swain and Sam Rork. The program will begin at 9 o'clock. The stations which have contracted to broadcast' this feature, in addition to WRC, follow: WJZ, WBZA, KDKA, WJIR and WHAM. The Eveready Hour, WRC's out- standing musical attraction tonight, will feature an all-Summertime pro- gram by the Salon Orchestra and the pipe organ. Virtually ever number on this program brings thoughts of the great outdoors, vacation land and the fast-waning Summer. “The June Bug's Dance,” “Foolin’ Around,” a two-piano duet by Milton Retenberg and Jack Shilkret and three Summer melodies are a few of the numbers suggestive of cloudless skies and warm breezes. “Maple Leaf Rag” also will be played by the two-piano team. Rudy Helder, girl tenor, who has been a featured performer through stations of the British Broadcasting Corporation for the last three years, will make her American radio pre- miere with the Radio Cavalcade, X H whose weekly program WRC will Chi San broadcast at 9 o'clock.
