Christie, partner in Dillon, Read and Co., refused to answer questions in the deposition proceedings held before Percy Lowe, notary public yesterday. He also refused to produce records. The hearing is part of a suit in equity brought by minority stock- holders to oust Clarence Dillon as management trustee of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., of Akron, Ohio. An accounting by Dillon, Read and Co. of $15,000,000 alleged to have been made by breach of its fiduciary rela- tionship to the Goodyear Co. also is | sought. The questions Christie refused to answer and the records he refused to produce appertained to the reorganiza- tion of the Goodyear Co. in 1921. The records he refused to produce were alleged to have involved the sale of two blocks of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. of California stock.
