P ‘WARSAW, Poland, March 9 (®).—A strike of textile workers has broken out at Lodz and most of the other Polish textile centers, tying up about 180.000 workers. The workers recently demanded a 25 per cent wage increase. The em- ployers countered with an offer of a 10 It‘er cent increase, which was re- sed. Latest reports indicated that the strike has been only partially effec- tive. Employers claim that not more than 70 per cent of ‘the workers have walked out at Lodz, while Thomaszow and other centers are said to be con- tinuing in full operation. Ordered to Take Treatment.
