Other resolutions adopted included one favoring the approval of the Juve- nfle Court bill as drawn up by the ‘Welfare Code Commission and another recommending to the General Fed- eration of Women's Clubs that the wood thrush, redheaded woodpecker or bald eagle be chosen as the “of- ficial bird of the Distrjct.” The latter resolution was adopted in line with a request of the federation that various organizations make recommendations as to the choice of the “official bird.” ¥rom the decisions of the various bodies, as previously announced, the federation hopes to choose an officlal feathered representative of the Na- tional Capital.
