Alfred Higble, 57 years old, presi- dent of Higbie & Richardson Real Estate, Inc., died suddenly yesterday at his residence, 1749 Irving street. He was a native of Michigan and had lived in Washington for the past 19 years, and was prominent in fraternal and civic circles. He was a member of Stansbury Lodge, No. 24, F. A. A. M.; the City | Club, Kiwanis Club, Washington Board of Trade and Washington Real | Estate Board. He 1is survived by his widow, Mr: Katherine Higbie; two sons, Harol and Willard Higbie, and a sister, Mrs. | John Sheldon of Elsie, Mich. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at his late home by Rev. Harvey Baker Smith of Columbia Helghts Christian Church, of which Mr. Higbie was an active member.
