NEW YORK, December 7.—The referee’s report recommending that Dr. Richard Hoffman, neurologist, be awarded a decree of ‘separation from { his wife, Janet Beecher, actress, was confirmed yesterday by Supreme Court Justice Lydon. The order provides that Dr. Hoff- mann is to have custody of his son, Richard, 6 years old, for nine months G of the year, and Miss Beecher for the three Summer months.
