TWO DISTRICT WOMEN ORGANIZE FLORIDA AID Motor Corps Units Are Established in Hurricane Area—Now Back in City. Mrs. Roy C. Hefflehower and Mrs. C. H. Jewett, members of the motor corps of the District of Celumbia Chap- ter of the American Red Cross, have Just returned from Florida, where they organized three local corps in the hur ricane area at the request of Miss Mabel T. Boardman, natioral director of the Red Cross volunteer service. Mi Hefllebower answered the call in spite of the fact that she was still suffering from the effects of a serious accident last Summer, whkich neces- sitated many weeks of hospital care. The two volunteers reached Miami on Saturday, October 16, and by Mon- day had organize a corps of 21 vol- unteers for active duty. Similar corps were organized at Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. Fritz Conrad Krueger of the Wittenberg faculty in return will come to Goettingen University to lec- ture on American politics and consti- tutional law.
