BOY SCOUTS Another pligrimage to the tomb ©of America’s Unknown Soldier at Arlington was made by the Boy Scouts of Washington and vicin- jty. A wreath was also laid on the grave of Edward Comegys, formerly & member of Troop 39. Another event in scouting is scheduled for November 20 at Camp ‘Wilson, when the annual Fall rally will be staged. With the exception of the awarding of camp medals, from 1 to 5 p.m., time will be devoted to games and fun. Apples will be dis- tributed and at 5 p.m., dinner will be served to scoutmasters. The final list of Scouts in the vari- ous schools was received at hea auarters and definite plans will =oon be completed for a more active yarticipation of Scouts in this im- yportant work. Troop 58 reports seven of its Scouts appointed to patrols. About 70 bpoys attended the 3d Di- Vision overnight hike to Great Seneca Creek last week end. Mr. Barnes, writer, story teller, Indian fighter and 'ongre onal” Medal of Honor man, was with them. Parents, visitors, troop officials und Scouts united last Friday night in an annual booster meeting for Troop 43 of the National Baptist Alemorial Church. Every member of ihe troop was present. Last week the troop took a hike to the Saunders sarm_on Conduit road. The Scouts und plenty of wild rugged country znd recommend the place for troop hikes.
