McKay, former deputy police commissioner of New York City, yesterday was convicted of drunken driving and reckless driving by a jury here. He was freed of a charge of manslaughter. His trial resulted from the death of Mrs. Mary Stockstrom, wealthy St. Louis woman, whose ma- chine was overturned in Mashpee on Labor day when struck by a car driven by McKay.
