Gauit, a missionary of the Presbyterian Church at Bantanga, Cameroun district, West Africa, was accidently drowned October 17, said a cablegram received yesterday by the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Mis- sions. No details were given. Mr. Gault was born in Fernwood, Ohlo, and was a graduate of the Steu- bensville, Ohio, High School, the Col- lege of Wooster, Wooster, Ohlo, and the McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago. He had been a missionary since 1916 and was engaged in educa- tional and evangelical work. Mrs. Gault, who was appointed to the mis- sion in 1920, and two children survive.
