Frances Clark, one of the founders of the Central Presbyterian Church here and long active in char- itable and philanthropic enterprises, died at her home, 2128 Wyoming ave- nue, Monday after a long illness. She was the widow of Willlam Evans Clark. who was first vice president of the Norfolk and Washington Steamboat Co., and who, at the time of his death, was also president of the old Central National Bank. She had resided in this city since her mar- riage 50 years ago.
